Anglican Chaplaincy in Zagreb

Our English-speaking congregation generally meets on the second and fourth Sunday of the month at 5.30 pm for Anglican /Episcopal worship in St. Joseph's Chapel, 110 Jordanovac, Zagreb. Services are also sometimes held at other times, so please check our calendar of services .

Who are we?
The congregation currently includes English, Swedish, Croatian and Welsh members. A few of us are permanently based in Zagreb, but most are here for shorter periods working in embassies, in business, and in other fields.
We meet in St Joseph’s Chapel through the hospitality of the Society of Jesus in Zagreb. The chapel is housed in the Jesuit Seminary alongside the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and in the grounds of the Faculty of Philosophy of the Society of Jesus.
We usually meet twice a month, once to celebrate the Eucharist conducted by a visiting priest from Vienna, Ljubljana, or Britain, and once for a service that is generally lay led.
We are part of the Diocese of Europe and, within that, the Chaplaincy of Vienna. We have a sister congregation in Ljubljana. To find out more about these bodies, click on the links below.
